Billy Woods has been one of the most consistently original rappers on the hip-hop scene for years, and his creative mind shows no signs of weakness on Maps, an album created in collaboration with producer Kenny Segal (their second collaboration).

When Maps was released digitally in early May 2023, it became Pitchfork's best-reviewed 2023 album to date, and all other reviewers were equally enthusiastic. Perhaps the highlight in a discography that across more than 10 albums has no duds, only works vying for the top spots.

In addition to the producer collaboration with Kenny Segal, Maps also features other spectacular guests, such as Danny Brown, Aesop Rock and lead singer of Future Islands, Samuel T. Herring.
